Gwen Stefani and Pharell Give Amazing “Hollaback Girl” Performance on The Voice

As part of the TV talent reality series The Voice, Gwen Stefani came out of semi-retirement to wow audiences and judges with a life performance of her hit song “Hollaback Girl” on Monday. The performance was made even better by the fact that she was joined by Pharrell towards the end who helped her complete the song.

Both Pharrell and Gwen are billed to become judges when season 7 starts so it's clear why producers teamed the two of them together for a joined performance. At the end of the song, Pharrell admitted that he produced Stefani's song back in the day.

Meanwhile, a clearly emotional Gwen gushed about her recent pregnancy and birth and how it was good to be back on the stage. She and Pharrell joined in thanking the public and the judges, reminding everyone that they will be among them soon.

Current judge Shakira was seen smiling when Pharrell complimented the judges as being very important and doing an amazing job giving life-changing advice to the contestants, as well as hints to the people at home.

Though hesitant at times, Stefani's performance was very well done, and it proves that she's ready for the stage so soon after giving birth.
