The legendary rock band made the announcement that they would once again be hitting the road on their website and it promised to “go to hell & heaven.” The tour is set to start in March and it will be covering venues in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.

The first date in the tour is the “Hell & Heaven Metal Festival” in Mexico City that will be taking place on March 16. From there on, Axl Rose and his band will be touring South America until the beginning of April.

The announcement made on the website also hints at possible further tour dates for this year, leaving fans from other territories to wonder if they'll get a chance to see the band live in 2014.

Guns 'n Roses have not released new material since their 2008 album, “Chinese Democracy” which was highly anticipated. The reason for that was that “Chinese Democracy” came seventeen years after their last album, released in 1991, and which received a lot of critical acclaim, as well as fan approval.

Speaking of new material, Guns n' Roses guitar player Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal said that the group would be returning to the studio as soon as they finish touring and that they already had something cooked up that required a little bit of polishing.

"We just have little things on the back burner, just waiting for the right time for us to organize and make something new out of it," the guitarist is quoted as saying. "Hopefully we can make more music – that's what it's about."
