Steam Workshop was integrated into Guncraft three months ago, and since then fans of the voxel-based first-player shooter have been actively at work, greatly expanding the game's content.

The busy community managed to produce over 2000 user-created items, maps, weapons, skins and prefabs, improving and expanding one of the most creatively addictive first-person shooters released this year.

In order to celebrate this milestone, Guncraft will be on sale at a 66 percent discount, part of the Steam Holiday Sale, up until January 2.

A special holiday update will also be available, introducing new festive content, including the Gingerbread map, three new thematic skins – Crafty Claus, Crafty Elf and Gingerbread Man – and the Holiday Block Pack offered for free, for a limited time only.

The creative nature of block building sandbox games converges with the fast action and competitive spirit of first-person shooters in Guncraft, a small gem that offers an intuitive and addictive gameplay experience.

Players are free to create arenas limited by their imagination only, and with the recent Steam Workshop integration everything can be instantly shared with the community, new levels, new guns and character skins, all just a couple of clicks away.

Being a voxel-based first-person shooter, Guncraft features fully destructible environments, tons of killstreak rewards (helicopters, jetpacks, drones and turrets) and allows its players to compete in traditional deathmatch and capture the flag modes, along with a few other unique ones like Lava Survival or Siege Mode.

Additional information on Guncraft can be found on the game's official webpage.

Exato Games' Guncraft is currently available on Steam's Holiday Sale for only $5 / €5, until January 2, 2014.

As Guncraft's motto goes, block and load!
