Major oops for cool Activision boss

Robert Kotick, Activision's CEO seems to have been part of an embarrassing event at a BA terminal when his pants fell down. Let me remind you that Activision is Guitar Hero's publisher and that he was NOT trying to find a cool new way to advertise the product. Kotick had the bad luck of taking his belt off (don't know why, though), causing his pants to drop and the man to trip, as reported by Kotaku.com.

His bigger problem was that the plane was leaving in about 20 minutes and that everyone found out about this. There's no point in being mean and laughing at Activision CEO, since great companies' chiefs are humans too, although they might seem to live in gold-plated mansions and drive supercars, while sporting some of the abilities of the gaming characters they advertise. Activision also publishes major titles like Spider-Man: Friend or Foe, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Tony Hawk's Proving Ground, all of them promising games released (or soon to be) this fall or winter.

What's with the gaming industry info these days? EA regrets using softporn to promote ProStreet, and now Activision's main man drops his pants by mistake. I guess that we'll be seeing Sony's CEO dancing with strippers soon and maybe Nintendo's chief attending a major meeting drunk (fictional events, of course). Hey, look at the bright side of things! The pants may be dropping, but the stocks are climbing and climbing, increasing the company's and the CEO's revenue.

Many of the gamers reading this would have probably drooled instead of smiling if Activision's boss had been a woman, a good-looking one, like Jade Raymond, for example. Still waiting for the representative of a gaming company to pull his/her pants down on purpose, as that would really be something special, considering that reputation and status of such major players.
