14 DAY TRIAL // The production team from Marvel's next big superhero feature have been oddly silent. Apart from confirming the fact that Vin Diesel was going to voice the character of Groot, there was nothing else news worthy.
The silence has been broken today with the first official picture which features the entire line-up of heroes. The heroes walk up to the camera in what can be described as a weird assortment of heroes.
There is a “tree guy” (Groot, voiced by Vin Diesel), a green woman in spandex, a raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper) and a huge orange beast portrayed by wrestler Dave Bautista.
There are two other official photos that were published in USA Today. The second one is a wonderful shot of the Milano, the Star-Lord's spaceship. Finally, the last one, is of the main character Peter Quill, played by Chris Pratt, known to you from “Parks and Recreation.”
“Guardians of the Galaxy” is also supposed to reveal its first trailer later today on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The superhero movie is scheduled to be released this summer, on August 1.
