Rocky Balboa will take on Jake LaMotta in this year’s “Grudge Match,” which will be out in theaters on Christmas Day and just got a brand new first trailer. You can see it in full above.

“Grudge Match” seems, at first sight, a typical comedy riddled with old man jokes, but I have faith in Sly Stallone and Robert De Niro’s abilities of pulling it off.

They play two aging former boxers and huge rivals who, by pure chance, are thrown in the boxing ring again as opponents. Of course, there’s huge money involved in the match, which is why they decide to prove that age shouldn’t be a deterrent.

“Grudge Match” is directed by Peter Segel (“Get Smart”), on an original script by Tim Kelleher.

Kim Basinger, Kevin Hart, and Alan Arkin also star.

I don’t know about you, but I’m planning on seeing this one.
