"You have water"

Today we return to unconventional devices and we talk about a delicate and wet problem, the shower. Many times, a perfect synchronization between the suitable shower temperature and available time is required, especially if you share the house with somebody else.

Although normally this is almost impossible to achieve, with the help of a revolutionary shower from Grohe you can transform an ordinary experience into something taken from an Asimov book.

The company, specialized in bathroom accessories, has come up with Grohtherm Wireless (via Ubergizmo), the digital solution for showers.

The new product consists of a main unit which can be concealed in the wall, a main control which attaches to the wall and a remote control. The base includes two dials for flow level and temperature and an easy to read display.

The user has complete freedom over the flow level and the temperature, which can be adjusted in increments of 0.5 Celsius degrees. Because of the TurboStat technology, the thermostat reacts instantly to any changes in water pressure, so there's no risk for the shower to suddenly become ice cold or scalding hot.

What's even more interesting is that different settings can be memorized. In this way, each member of the family is able to create their own preset mode and to activate it without losing time with countless adjustments.

And since hot water has a problem with flowing instantly when you turn on the faucet, the remote control is able to start the shower and to make all the necessary adjustments so that all you'll have to do is to soap up and rinse.

Grohtherm Wireless also has protection settings to prevent the accidental modification of the temperature and a pause button, just as a CD player.

But as you might have learned by now, good things cost a lot of money and the Grohtherm Wireless is not exactly cheap, the price for a digital shower being 744 pounds.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed.
