Most of the time, people living in apartment buildings have troubles growing the perfect roses or other similar types of vegetation simply because the conditions in which these plants are forced to grow and develop do not provide them with sufficient sunlight.

However, one sculptor from Belgium now says this issue can be easily dealt with provided that people decide to invest $10 (€7.7) in some very basic items that they can use to make their very own plant-friendly robot.

Sources inform us that Stephen Verstraete has already developed several such devices, whose main job is to serve as holders for flower pots, and follow the light as it moves about the house.

Apparently, the main “ingredient” one needs in order to develop such a robot is a wheeled toy platform, and other gadgets and gizmos will help make it seek out the sun.

The science talk surrounding this project is made available to you here.
