They are somewhat like normal cards but with a wider temperature tolerance

Memory cards are common nowadays, but there are certain scenarios where they can't really serve, even though they would be perfect due to their size, capacity and performance.

Gadgets and phones don't really demand too high an endurance from SDHC cards, but industrial applications are different.

Most often, the operational temperatures have to be a little bit on the extreme side.

That's why Green House Japan has just revealed a line of industrial SDHC cards that withstand 0 to 70 degrees Celsius.

The capacities are 256 MB, 512 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB, and 8 GB, all of which, save for the first two, read at 20 MB/s and write at 13 MB/s.

The 256 MB and 512 MB cards have 19 MB/s read and 8 MB/s write speeds.

Green House built ECC logic into all cards and expects them to be most appealing for IPCs and outdoor static cameras.
