Given the fact that, for most people, access to information is no longer an issue, why is it that some decide to get involved in environmental campaigns or simply opt for a greener life-style, why other choose to do nothing?

Rune Ellemose Gulev, a researcher from Germany, investigated this paradox and came up with some very interesting conclusions.

Thus, it seems that people living in communities where great value is placed on social cohesion, tolerance and respect are more likely to do something green at least once in their lives.

As well as this, apparently those who appreciate a high income are also more prone to opting for sustainable development.

We're guessing that this is due to the fact that impressive electrical or water bills and having money in your bank account don't really mix-and-match.

The good news is that education can turn pretty much everyone into a green head.
