A brand new trailer for Mark Pellington’s “I Melt with You” has been released. It’s the green band version of the one that came out earlier this week and, though “clean” by all standards, it’s still as angsty, disturbing and promising.

“I Melt with You,” the story of four longtime friends who, every year, meet for a week of “catching up,” premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and was one of the most controversial productions on show.

The trailer certainly explains why: as the week of partying degenerates into non-stop drunken raves with mountains of drugs and much too young girls, a secret that could ruin their lives seems to loom over their heads.

Starring Rob Lowe, Tom Jane, Jeremy Piven, and Christian McKay, “I Melt with You” has been described as “The Hangover” on cocaine, sans the humor. It’s out in US theaters this December.
