mobileways.de, a developer focused on delivering Symbian applications, has just announced the availability of Gravity 1.50a, which fixes several bugs and has an entirely rewritten Facebook section.

Gravity is one of the most popular S60 Twitter clients. The application supports multiple accounts, all Twitter features and integrates Facebook, Foursquare, as well as Google Reader.

The first alpha build of Gravity 1.5 features an improved UI compared with older versions and is now available for all Symbian platforms, Symbian^3, S60v5 and S60v3.

It looks like the application comes with its own virtual on-screen keypad for touchscreen phones, which is available in both modes, landscape and portrait. The keyboard supports English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese layouts.

The developer claims that the entire Facebook section has been rewritten. Furthermore, Gravity now supports Messages, Notifications, Viewing of Users’ Wall Posts, Posting to a User’s Wall, as well as a new Post & Comments View.

The latest version also addresses a few bugs such as:

- Google Reader: a very old crashing Bug has been fixed; - UI Layout crashing bug fixed; - JSON Parser has been fixed for Twitter; - Background Power-Safe mode was broken and has been fixed.

Other interesting improvements include:

- Your own tweets that have been retweeted are shown in the “My Tweets” tab; - The “In-Reply-To” button will show all retweets of your (retweeted) Tweet; - Browse all your own Favourites by scrolling down (automatically loading more); - Browse all User Tweets (from a user’s profile) by scrolling down; - Tweets sent in offline mode will be shown in the drafts section now; - The new S^3 fullscreen mode is now available for S60v5 as well. Gravity 1.50a is available as a free download from Softpedia and is fully compatible with Symbian S60 3rd/5th Edition and Symbian^3 devices.
