Gran Turismo 6 has just received a brand new update on the PS3 platform, through which developer Polyphony Digital delivers a variety of free goodies to the racing game, from the Mini Clubman Vision concept car to the Mid-Field Raceway circuit, the B-Spec AI mode, and a few other things.
Gran Turismo 6 launched back in December of 2013 and acted as the last major PS3 exclusive, bringing forth a wide variety of racing mechanics and options that satisfied many simulator fans on the old Sony console.
Since then, Polyphony Digital has worked hard on the PS4-exclusive Gran Turismo 7 but also on various free updates and add-ons for the last title, in order to keep fans happy.
A new update brings many free things
Now, after more than a year since the original debut of Gran Turismo 6, a fresh patch has just been released by Polyphony Digital, bringing forth quite a lot of free goodies for all owners of the game to enjoy.
First up, the Vision Gran Turismo category has been enriched with a fresh model, as the Mini Clubman Vision concept is now available for purchase. Those who complete a lap in the new Season Event will be able to get it for free, but you should hurry as the event is only available for a limited time.
Veteran Gran Turismo fans will also be happy to hear that the iconic Mid-Field Raceway circuit is now present in the latest experience, complete with its many emblematic portions.
The update also brings forth the B-Spec mode, which allows players to summon an AI driver to race their car in a certain Career Mode event. Whether you want to just admire the visuals and the race, or just not deal with an annoying challenge, you can summon the AI driver.
A few more options are also added to Gran Turismo 6 by the new update, such as more paint choices and the possibility of painting some of the Vision concepts, and more, according to the PS blog.
