He’s a musician, he deserved to be there more than Shia

Before Sia's performance of “Chandelier” with Kristen Wiig and Maddie Ziegler at the Grammys 2015 on Sunday, actor Shia LaBeouf, who also starred in the music video for “Elastic Heart,” took to the stage to say a few words by means of an introduction.

He actually recited a poem to Sia, which turned out to be a love letter Sia’s husband had penned a while back, and the moment was deemed one of the most touching of the evening albeit unexpected and somewhat out of place.

Jaden Smith thinks Shia was the one who was out of place, to the detriment of a musician as himself. Jaden seems to have a bit of Kanye West in him, because he took to Twitter to say that he deserved to be at the gala, instead of Shia, whom organizers invited just so they wouldn’t have empty seats.

Jaden’s fans seem to think that he was joking, so taking offense to what he said is the most pointless thing to do. Still, this comes from a young man who often compares himself to Albert Einstein and who says his future plans include being the best at everything in the world.

For all we know, he might be very much in earnest when he’s saying Shia had no business at the Grammys, whereas he did. So yes, Jaden has a little more Kanye in him than you probably thought.
