The Grammys 2015 were packed with beautiful and touching performances, but perhaps none was as spectacular as the duet between Annie Lennox and Hozier. It is considered one of the highlights of the night, if not actually the best moment of the entire gala.

In case you missed the awards show when it aired live on CBS, you can see the entire moment in the video below.

Hozier (who, by the way, looks like Jon Snow’s youngest brother, the Internet decided) opened the number with a rousing rendition of his hit “Take Me to Church,” before introducing Lennox on stage. She dived straight into “I Put a Spell on You,” and by the time she was over, not only had she lost her jacket to have more freedom to move on stage but she had the entire audience on their feet, singing along and cheering her on.

In recent months, Lennox has been making plenty of headlines because of her opinions on feminism and the state of the pop industry, which have, on occasion, been spun into “Lennox trashes X” or “Lennox disses Y” singer-type of headlines.

In fact, what Lennox has been saying all along was that a pop star who has the talent and a good set of pipes didn’t need to lose her clothing and writhe on a stage to get herself noticed. Cough, Miley Cyrus and even Beyonce, cough.

Last night, at the gala held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the 60-year-old singer proved the world that she was as good as her word (of advice), delivering a flawless performance without the stage gimmicks we have to expect from any performance.

It was simply beautiful. Check it out.
