As announced some time ago, the rockers from Metallica returned to the stage at the 2014 Grammy Awards to perform, and they made sure their number would stand out.

Though they performed their Grammy-winning song “One,” with which fans must be accustomed, they put a new spin on it with the help of world-famous pianist Lang Lang, as the video above will confirm. It’s of the performance in full and in HD.

The performance was introduced by Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto who, these past few months, has been reaping lots of critical praise for his comeback to film, thanks to his role in “Dallas Buyers Club,” where he plays an HIV transgender patient opposite Matthew McConaughey.

Before welcoming Metallica and Lang Lang on stage, Jared also paid tribute to Metallica collaborator Lou Reed, who passed away in October last year. He was also included in the In Memoriam segment, together with Phil Everly and Cory Monteith.

Now, just sit back and enjoy the performance from Metallica. Audience gave it a standing ovation but what I want to know is: how did you find it? Let me know in the comments section below.
