As the countdown to the 2014 Grammys commences, more and more artists are confirmed to be taking part in the most important event in the music industry. Today, it's been revealed that the closing performance will feature Dave Grohl, Nine Inch Nails and Queens of the Stone Age.

The awards show taking place on January 26 already has live performances scheduled from heavyweights in the industry. Most recently, Beyonce and Jay Z were added to the line-up, with Madonna still being rumored to make a surprise appearance.

Another famous performance will be that of former Beatles members, Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney, who are coming together on stage especially for this event, since this year marks the 50th anniversary of their first performance in the United States on the "Ed Sullivan Show".

The rest of the line-up consists of performances from Metallica and Chinese concert pianist Lang Lang, from Daft Punk and Stevie Wonder and Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers and Kendrick Lamar together with Imagine Dragons, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, John Legend, and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

All in all, it will be a star-packed event that will be airing live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles this Sunday, starting with 8pm on CBS.
