14 DAY TRIAL // Adam Levine of Maroon 5 doesn’t always get lots of love in the blogosphere, but no one can deny that he’s an accomplished musician and an amazing performer. Having him teamed up with Alicia Keys was the best idea ever.
Check out the video below to see Alicia and Maroon 5’s joint performance at the Grammy Awards 2013, which took place last night at the Staples Center in LA.
The set opened with Adam and Maroon 5 performing “Daylight,” before Alicia showed up on stage, beating on the drums and singing the first notes of her hit “Girl on Fire.”
By the end of the medley, Adam and Alicia were singing together on her song – and what an amazing pair they made!
Alicia too was moved by the moment, tweeting almost the very instant she got off stage, “Just got off stage! SO blessed have to have performed in this room! I remember the first time! ;-) #GRAMMYs #memories.”
