If one were to sum up the Grammys 2012, one could say: Adele, tributes and electronic music. Towards the end of the awards show, electronic dance and electronica music got a special segment – with contributions from some of the biggest names out there.

David Guetta, Chris Brown, Foo Fighters and Deadmau5 all joined forces for what they meant to be a moment dedicated to electronic music.

“It's like having a rave outside the Grammys, and I love it!” a very excited Guetta told reporters before his big show.

It saw him at the DJ booth, with Chris Brown and Lil Wayne spitting verses to his music (in Autotune).

It also saw the Foo Fighters rock to “Rope,” while Deadmau5 whipped the crowd into a frenzy with his trademark beats.

“It's really exciting, because they wanted to acknowledge electronic dance music, and I think it's amazing for our scene to finally get the respect that I think it deserves,” Guetta also said about being asked to perform at the Grammys.

This joint performance was perhaps one of the strongest of the night. Watch it in full below.
