The Grammy Awards is an unique event in the music industry's landscape, and Microsoft is facilitating nothing more than a hands-on experience for MSN users. And as far as the Redmond company is concerned, the start was given by the Clive Davis' legendary Pre-Grammy Party. Held on February 9, 2008, in Beverly Hills, the event attracted a plethora of celebrities and MSN provided exclusive access, being not only the title sponsor of Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Party, but also the sole online broadcaster of the event. Via Music MSN, fans were granted all-access pass to the night's performances. But of course that with Microsoft it did not stop there.

On February 9, Clive Davis was joined by "Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, Evander Holyfield, Will Smith, John Voight, Bill Maher, Carrie Underwood, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz, Rod Stewart, Miley Cyrus, Chris Brown, Daughtry, Foo Fighters, Usher and Tameka Foster, Lindsay Lohan, Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman, Rihanna, Pink, Velvet Revolver, Fantasia, Lionel Richie, Fergie and Josh Duhmel, The Black Eyed Peas, Gavin DeGraw, Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri, Nelly Furtado, Leona Lewis, John Legend, L.A. Reid, Raquel Welch, Kim Basinger, Meatloaf, Lil' Jon, Larry King, Simon Fuller, Nygel Lythgoe, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, Sean 'P.Diddy' Combs, T-Pain, Taylor Swift, Tommy Lee, Tracey Ullman, David Spade, Mayor Antonio Villaraiosa, and many more," according to Microsoft.

MSN users now have a chance to catch up with the Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Party, but also with the 50th annual Grammy Awards show. MSN Music has an entire portion of the website dedicated to the 2008 Grammys, offering anything from insights on this year's winners, to the red carpet arrivals and interviews, and to the 2009 performances. Microsoft also has some extras in-store for end users, such as gaming content build specifically for the event, and even free wallpapers tailored to the 2008 Grammys.
