Warner Bros. and Monolith have finally confirmed a release date for their upcoming Gotham City Impostors multiplayer shooter, which is set to appear next week.

After the huge success achieved by the Batman Arkham games made by Rocksteady, Warner Bros. is keen on attracting Batman fans to a whole new experience, in the form of Gotham City Impostors. The game is a multiplayer-only shooter, where teams of people dressed as either Batman or The Joker fight in a variety of locations throughout Gotham City.

After a delay at the beginning of the year and a successful beta stage, the game has finally received a concrete release date. As such, PC and PlayStation 3 owners from North America will get it on February 7, while those in Europe, together with Xbox 360 owners from all around the world, will get it one day later, on February 8.

You can expect some more details about the game to appear until next week.
