Users can create mini websites with text, images, animations and music and "Zapp" them to mobile phones

Trivantis Corporation has unveiled a new mobile social networking platform called GotZapp that allows users to create and send a dynamic combination of text, photos and music to Internet-enabled mobile phones in a single transmission called a "Zapp." The content is created using Zirada Mobile Publisher, a drag-and-drop publishing tool for delivering custom content to mobile phones.

Access to the GotZapp social network and Zirada mobile content creator is available for free at GotZapp's website. Here, with the help of easy-to-use tools, visitors can create mini websites resembling real Internet sites that can be sent in a single data transmission to Internet-enabled mobile phones worldwide. Zapps can include multiple pages of text, photos, graphics, animations, navigation buttons and can even play music. The GotZapp website also provides pre-made Zapps featuring pop culture icons in music, movies, and television. Users of GotZapp can import profiles from MySpace, FaceBook, CyWorld or TagWorld.

"The uses for GotZapp and Zirada are limited only by the user's imagination," said Tim Loudermilk, company founder and chief software architect. "GotZapp and Zirada are the perfect tools for sending rich, multimedia communications to friends, customers, employees and businesses - all via their mobile phones."

"Today's average cell phone is a powerful tool and consumers are not fully utilizing the advanced wireless technology they already own - with GotZapp, they can," said Loudermilk. "With GotZapp, social networking truly becomes mobile."

Currently, users in Asia and Europe can take full advantage of GotZapp. In North America, all users can create, send and view Zapps from their PC, and T-Mobile and Cingular customers can access their Zapps remotely from their Internet-enabled mobile phones. GotZapp is discussing with additional U.S. carriers to expand access to the social networking platform.
