Last Flight brings vampires, blood to your Wii console

With the announcement of Last Flight, we now have the bloodiest Wii game in sight - a title that is being developed for Nintendo's WiiWare that will be launched in Japan during the day. It remains to see how the Wii community is going to react to such a gory game, but one thing is certain: variety is always welcomed, and this is what Last Flight promises to bring.

Blobber Team is the developer behind this project and they are the ones that bought ROTR from Nibris. In Last Flight you will be a culinary critic that definitely knows how to use the knives and axes for other things than chopping the meat he is going to eat. And that's a good thing, since the plane you are traveling with will be invaded by vampires and you have to stop them.

However, it's not the gore that frightens me, but the fact that all the action of the game takes place inside a plane - I can't see a game experience longer than, at most, 2 hours but let's hope that Blobber Team has some good plans regarding this problem and we will get the variety all the games need so much. Otherwise, I am absolutely sure this one is going to be a shocker: you can check the teaser screenshot that has been launched and you will know what I mean. We have got ugly vampires (even though they just look like bloody monsters), we have got tons of blood and heads jumping around like popcorn. Cool!

Now, as you can see, we don't have too many details about the game, but we will do our best to find out more. Meanwhile, you should know that our chef will also fight against the vampires using a whip dipped in holy water (because, as you know, every plane carries whips and holy water), different sets of knives and wooden stakes. Also, the game is scheduled for a Q1 2009 release. We're waiting...
