At this time, there are two famous companies that are challenging one another with their solutions that are aiming to lure the same category of users. In the blue corner, Google owns a huge number of products, most of them based on the search technologies and with a huge number of users from all over the world. In the red corner, Yahoo has the most popular giant on the Internet and tries to challenge Google periodically with similar solutions. The best example is surely the battle of the search engines because the Mountain View-based firm designed the best search technology while Yahoo built the service that is currently placed on the second position. However, the two companies are even more than two simple firms and are always trying to bring customers to their websites.

Yesterday, Yahoo announced two new services for the Indian users that will offer satellite maps and other imagery with some of the most famous cities in the country. Although it might look like a strategical move to conquer the local market and fight with Google Maps, the giant portal wants to be the first company that debuts this type of solution in the country. However, Google is strong enough to resist to these attempts and brings its products in the spotlights.

The two companies are often the most powerful rivals on the Internet but a long time ago, they were somehow partners and tried to conquer China. As you might know, Google and Yahoo had several attempts to expand their products into the Asian market but every time their attempts were rejected just from the beginning. No matter it was the local giant Baidu or the Chinese users, Google's and Yahoo's moves were useless and caused more problems than good things. For example, Yahoo was forced to announce an internal reorganization able to revamp the company and improve its products.
