Which one do you prefer?

Google Video and YouTube are two similar products that allow users to upload clips and share them with other Internet users. Because they are both owned by the same company, numerous users asked themselves which is the reason that makes Google keep the solutions available and even update them periodically. A long time ago, a Google employee announced that both Google Video and YouTube will continue to exist but, while the popular YouTube will try to boost its community and attract new visitors, Google Video will focus on content and on the clips it offers.

However, I heard numerous users saying that Google Video is better than YouTube while others sustained that a comparison between the two products is useless. This makes me wonder: which one do you prefer? Personally, I choose Google Video even if it's not as rich as YouTube is and it has some problems with the content published on the page. If you didn't know, Google Video provided access to full-length clips although the service's guidelines prohibit this kind of videos. Moreover, the employee didn't remove them quickly, leaving them available for a considerable amount of time.

YouTube is something else, it is more than an online video sharing service, it is almost a huge video encyclopedia because if you want to view the latest movies trailers you just check the official website of the product. What should you do if you want to view the latest clip of your favorite singer? You go over to YouTube. What if you want to find information about a hardware device? That's right, the answer is the same, you go to YouTube.

Recently, the Mountain View company included new technologies in Google Video, making it a powerful video searching tool. It is now providing instant access to third-party websites such as Metacafe or other video sharing pages.
