At this time, Google is one of the biggest companies in the world if we talk about the number of solutions they offer, providing an incredible amount of services in multiple categories. Calendar, Gmail, Google Talk, Search Engine, Groups, Docs & Spreadsheets, Video Search, YouTube, Blogger and many other products are all developed by the search giant. Although it is not as popular as other Google services, Notebook is one of the most interesting solutions designed by the company.

The service allows you to browse, share or search for information posted by other users of the product directly from the official page. It works just like any other desktop notes application, but it is even more powerful, allowing you to post new messages with ease by a simple selection of text in the browser window. Some time ago, multiple security companies reported a vulnerability in Google Notebook, saying the product contains a security flaw that can allow an attacker to view clips posted by other private members.

Today, it seems like the company improved the product, but its representatives didn't provide any official announcement yet. Ionut Alex, Google blogger, posted a message on his official blog, sustaining that a new version of Google Notebook is now available.

"Google Notebook has been updated. First, there's a new version of the extension (1.0.0.14) that lets you make the mini notebook pop out into a new window. Now you don't have to go to the site to see the full notebook. Google also updated the rich-text editor and included the same big buttons that are now available in Google Page Creator. Public notebooks have feeds, so if you find an interesting notebook, subscribe to the feed read the updates," Ionut Alex reported.
