Yesterday, Google released an updated version of Google Notebook, an online service that allows users to post and save memos, ideas or any type of text. The product is available for free with a simple Google account so all the users of another Google service are able to access Notebook. As I said, the search giant updated Notebook by adding a fresh new interface meant to increase the appearance of the service but also provide more functionality for the product. Although it returned me several errors while I was testing it with the Opera browser, Google Notebook worked just fine in Safari and without any error.

Today, Google announces the update officially, sustaining the product wasn't updated only with the interface redesign, but it also received a major improvement for the users from every corner of the world. Google Notebook is now available in 17 more languages besides English, including German, Polish, Turkish and Chinese.

"Fortunately, my feeling of guilt is coming to an end. When we released the Google Notebook in its shiny, fresh new look, we also made it speak 17 other languages besides English. We have German, Polish, Turkish-to name a few-and of course Chinese. Admittedly, there is still a long way to go for us to reach everyone in the world in all the thousands of languages. Rest assured, though, that just because your language isn't one of the first doesn't mean that we have forgotten you," Xiangtian Dai, Software Engineer, sustained in a blog post.

As I said before, Google Notebook is free for everybody so, if you want to use the product and save your notes online, you can access the service using this link. All you need to do is to login with your Google account (Gmail, Google Talk, Docs or some other product developed by the company) and start writing your notes.
