It seems like Google's financial resources are somehow unlimited because the Mountain View company is continuously expanding its solutions all over the world. Lately, the search giant prepared the Iowa conquest as Google wants to invest at least $600 million in a new data center. Obviously, the new center will represent a server farm to host its web-based solutions and improve their performance. However, it is an exciting move for the local authorities because Google will boost the state's resources as numerous residents will be hired at the new office.

As I4U News reported, the search giant plans to hire approximately 200 employees to track the servers' activity. The construction of the 1.200 acres office is already started but the Mountain View company plans the migration for the beginning of the year 2009. According to the same source, Google already signed deals with energy providers to supply the electricity to the new office.

"MidAmerican Energy Co., which will supply the electricity to the facility, would not say how much electricity the data center will consume, citing a confidentiality agreement with Google. The energy company recently completed the expansion of its coal-fired plant in Council Bluffs, which can produce over 1,300 megawatts," I4U added.

In the recent period, Google started a powerful campaign to expand the company's solution and it looks like it is just the beginning. The Mountain View giant is already preparing to debut other expansion projects in Oklahoma, North Carolina and South Carolina as other offices are currently in building stages. A few days ago, Google confirmed its intentions to build an office in Beijing in a move meant to increase the company's presence in China and into the Asian market. Although Google is conquering the world, the search giant's rivals are quietly preparing their moves but there is no powerful response yet.
