The first sign: the Health Advertising Blog

Some time ago, it was rumored that Google might prepare a health search engine that can bring useful information for all the interested Internet users. The Mountain View company didn't comment on the speculations, refusing to admit or to deny them. Today, a new sign of a health system prepared by the search giant Google is officially released by the company after it rolled out the Health Advertising Blog. Basically, this new blog is intended to offer valuable information to the Internet users.

The blog is quite useless at this time as the search giant refused to offer important details about its plans. However, it seems that the Mountain View company plans to compete with the Redmond software giant Microsoft that struggled to increase its presence into the health market by signing deals with several health portals.

"You may not know that our advertising teams are organized by industry. The very people who directly help healthcare partners and advertisers will be posting the latest information, trends, and best practices here. In addition, we'll also share our thoughts and random items that we hope will make you go "hmm, hadn't thought of that." We hope, in short, that the information you read here may better enable your overall marketing efforts," Khee Lee, Health Industry Manager, said today.

A potential health search engine owned by the Mountain View company would represent an interesting source of information as more and more users are attracted by the Internet to find valuable details about diseases and other health-related matters. According to the Google employee, YouTube is also one of the most popular services offering health information because there are numerous clips that describe the treatment and the evolution of important diseases.

Some time ago, it was reported that a woman fighting against leukemia turned to YouTube to describe the disease and find a matching donor to rescue her life. She finally managed to find one in Denmark after the video recorded a considerable number of views and comments.
