Google has recently announced that it would host an event called “Think Mobile” on February 10th at their New York office, starting 1 PM ET / 10 AM PT. The event will be focused on the future of mobile and what businessmen can do to better connect with consumers.

Those interested will be able to livestream these talks where Mary Meeker, partner at Kleiner Perkins, Dennis Woodside, SVP, Americas Operations and Jason Spero, head of Mobile, Americas, will explain why it’s “not too late for businesses to still be early” in the mobile world.

According to Google's estimates, by the end of 2011, no less than one billion people around the world will be connected to the mobile web. Furthermore, about 50% of all Americans will own a smartphone, by that time.

The Mountain-View-based company will explain the importance of mobile ads for businesses and the advantages that mobile advertising presents.

Currently, marketers, mobile developers and publishers are supporting profitable businesses with advertising revenue using simple tools such as effective mobile search and display campaigns.

However, Google's mobile ads solution is based on three core principles, which will be thoroughly explained during the “Think Mobile” event:

Seamless – the solution helps marketers and developers extend the benefits of their desktop advertising to people on mobile devices, without negatively affecting their campaigns and ads managed through other channels.

Inclusive – based on search, text, display, video, commerce and more, Google's solution is included on a wide range of devices, thus it helps businesses and consumers to relate in useful ways.

Made for mobile – another two important characteristics included in Google's mobile ads solution is the presence of the “location” feature embedded in many mobile phones, as well as the touch screens, which makes it easier for people to reach the information they need faster and more convenient.
