The LG-V510 might turn out to be an LTE variant of LG G Pad 8.3 instead of Nexus 8

Just yesterday we reported that Google uploaded an interesting picture on its website to promote Android’s latest build, KitKat. In it, a woman relaxing in a caffeé is browsing the Play Store on what seems to be a Nexus 8 slate.

The thing drawing attention to the slate were the very slim bezels, visibly thinner than those found on the Nexus 7 (2013). The picture came to complement theories that claimed Google is working on a Nexus 8 slate.

The device had already been spotted a couple of times, the most recent being when it received its Bluetooth Certification.

Could it be that the picture posted on the website to promote KitKat was just an error? It might turn out to be so, as the image we saw yesterday was replaced by the search giant. Now, the same woman enjoying a cup of coffee is browsing the Play store on a Nexus 7 (2013) with chunkier bezels.

But could this mean there is no Nexus 8? The swiftness with which Google pulled off the image from the web might indicate that something is definitely going on here. After all, how many times have you seen a leaked YouTube video being deleted? Hopefully, this is in an indication that the Nexus 8 is indeed coming.
