The smartphone might go on sale at Sprint and/or Verizon

We can expect Google to refresh its Nexus lineup of smartphones with a new device sometime this year.

Rumors on the next Nexus phone continue to emerge, though we're pretty certain all leaked devices were just prototypes taken into consideration at some point.

However, here is something more believable. It appears that Google and LG will be launching an improved version of Nexus 4.

The smartphone would be officially announced at Google I/O conference in May and it might go on sale a few weeks later.

According to SidhTech, citing sources close to the matter, Google will reveal a 32GB Nexus 4 next month. The smartphone is said to support both LTE and CDMA, which will make it perfectly valid for important carriers such as Sprint and Verizon Wireless.

Although the current Nexus 4 featuring 16GB is one of the best-selling Android smartphones available on the market because of the low price, even more people would have bought the device if enough storage were included by default.

There are many Android users afraid that the 16GB of internal memory offered by Nexus 4 would not be enough to fulfill their needs.

Obviously, the main issue with the Nexus 4 isn't the fact that it only packs 16GB of storage, but that it lacks microSD card slot for memory expansion.

These rumors on an upcoming 32GB Nexus 4 with LTE and CDMA support are more plausible than previous ones that suggested Google would announce a Nexus 5 smartphone next week, which will go on sale in Q4.

Still, we should take these rumors with a grain of salt until we get more information on Google's plans for the rest of the year or until the search giant comes forward with an official announcement. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
