Because Google is the best search engine on the Internet and struggles to keep the information provided by its technologies clean and accurate, it is often regarded as one of the most powerful companies that are fighting against piracy, hackers and other types of malicious activity. As you might know, the search giant also improves its security tools periodically to assure that its search engine provides clean information to its users. The best example is represented by the malware warnings placed under the links returned for a certain search query and also the notification displayed when a user tries to click on a malicious link.

It's obvious that Google is one of the most important fighters against illegal activities but today, this fact was a little ambiguous. The Google's employees posted a message on the Blogs of Note to promote a page that contains several Nintendo Wii hacks. Google publishes weblinks on the Blogs of Note service periodically but today's post is quite interesting. It all begins with the title: when you say Wii Hack, we all think of an illegal activity to hack the game console with other goals than the ones allowed by the developer. Although the blog provides some interesting tips and tricks regarding Nintendo Wii, I found some weird post containing scripts, codes or other tips to methods to enhance the functionality of the game console.

The blog is quite legal and clean but the word hack associated to Google creates a weird context. I know that Google is a powerful fighter against hacker activity and this can be proved by searching on its engine for illegal programs. For example, you can search for Windows Vista cracks and the search engine will return only legal articles but without detailed activation tips or download links.
