Quite a difficult job

AdSense is not only a Google service; it also represents an important partner for most of the big companies on the Internet. As you know, the advertising platform helps individual users or firms with large websites to earn money by placing adverts on their pages. Although it might look like an easy way to make money online, trust me, it isn't. It is extremely difficult to own an AdSense account, as Google has numerous severe rules that are checked periodically for every member registered for the advertising platform. Back in December, the Google team posted a message on their blog to inform users about the possibility of getting their account banned if they publish pictures near the Google ads. However, it is an old tip and the company decided to bring AdSense in the spotlights with a new reminder: don't encourage users to click on the ads.

At this time, there are numerous websites out there that are encouraging users to click on the Google adverts and support the webmasters. It can be easily done with a simple text message or a picture but some of the users are using alternative phrases such as "Support Us", "Recommended Links" or even the obvious "Please Click The Ads". That's why you must know that this trick is prohibited by Google and might get your account banned.

"Generally, visitors should only click on Google ads if they're interested in the services being advertised. Encouraging them to click on your Google ads, either directly or indirectly, can lead to inflated advertiser costs -- and can cause an account to be disabled," Mike Deeringer, AdSense Publisher Support, sustained in a blog post.

However, the company encourages you to place referrals to the Google products because every time a user downloads and installs a company's application linked to your website, a certain amount of money is automatically transferred to your account. "Unlike with AdSense for content ads, you can endorse your referral products by calling attention to the button or text link. If you believe in the quality of the product that you're referring, feel free to let your users know," the Google employee added.
