For the AdWords advertising platform

Google AdWords is currently of the most known advertising platforms on the Internet because it allows companies or individual publishers to advertise directly on the Google search engine result page or into the ads delivered by the AdSense service. The service was improved several times because it seems like some of the well known Internet giants are also using it such as Microsoft or Ask search engine. Some time ago, the search giant placed ads using the AdWords service while Ask.com advertises on Google using the yahoo.com keyword. The procedure is quite simple: every time a user searches on Google for yahoo.com, the first result returned by the search giant is a link to Ask.com.

It's quite obvious the service is very popular, so the company tries to update it periodically to keep it up to date and to attract more users. Today, the company announced that a new set of updates is prepared to be included in AdWords, containing new functions and changes made to the product. Sarah, Inside AdWords crew, posted a message on the official blog of the service to mention all the changes to be made to the service.

"Transparency - Later this week, we're releasing an optional Quality Score column that shows the minimum bid for all of the keywords within an ad group as well as a Great, OK, or Poor quality label for your keyword. You can select this column by clicking 'Customize Columns' in one of your ad groups (selecting this will also automatically populate the column for all other ad groups within that campaign). Use the quality label to get a quick overview of the quality of your keywords, or look at the minimum bid for a granular understanding of your Quality Score. Remember, the lower the minimum bid is for a keyword, the higher the Quality Score, and vice versa," the Google employee said.

The company also plans to improve the Quality Score algorithm that will improve the ads displayed on users' pages, trying to include more relevant adverts according to the content published on certain websites. It is expected that the minimum and the maximum bid for specific keywords to be modified so, if you encounter any problem regarding the relevancy of your keywords you should try to reconfigure or optimize your settings.
