Google has just posted a new Nexus 7 commercial on its GoogleNexus YouTube account. With previous commercials, the search giant highlighted the 7-incher’s potential to help people get better at certain activities, by providing knowledge in the form of text and video.

The new ad called “Study Hall” showcases a feature students in particular might find very useful. In the video, we’re shown a young man getting ready to study for a Biology exam. He quickly searches for the textbook he needs, “The Machinery of Life” and is able to rent it for the night.

Then he is off looking for coffee shops open 24/7 on Google, because apparently students these days can’t study in their dorm rooms. That part didn’t really make sense. Nevertheless, the essential is that users can rent text books via the Nexus 7 because the slate is “made for what matters.” Check out the commercial above!
