Translating whole pages from one language to another can give a bit of a headache to anybody that needs it, and accessing Google Translate can be time consuming at times. If you're a master of the keyboard, everything is easier done with the translation links below.

All you need to do is type in http://www.google.com/translate_c?langpair=LANG1|LANG2&u=URL , where LANG1 is the original language of the page and LANG2 is the language you want it translated to. The languages pairs available are those that follow, and the way they will show up in the URL is the common abbreviation in use globally. For example, English is en, Italian is it, French is fr and so on.

English to/from Arabic English to/from Chinese (Simplified) English to/from Chinese (Traditional) English to/from Dutch English to/from French English to/from German English to/from Greek English to/from Italian English to/from Korean English to/from Japanese English to/from Russian English to/from Spanish English to and from Portuguese Chinese (Simplified) to/from Chinese (Traditional) German to/from French

That's one link you should pay attention to the next time you're in dire need of a quick translation, but there are a few others that might catch you eye, as highlighted by Ionut Alex. Chitu of the Google Operating System. Should the page that caught your interest happen to be written in one of the languages in the list above and you need it in English, you don't have to specify the pair, it can be detected automatically if you use the following URL: http://www.google.com/translate_c?langpair=en&u=URL.

Text is even easier to translate with http://www.google.com/translate_t?langpair=LANG1|LANG2&text=TEXT, but I've noticed that this works like a charm for simple grammatical constructions, but blunders on something a tad more difficult. Do note that the above links basically redirect you to the Google Translate pages, but I find this to be an easier and faster alternative when you're on the go.
