Since some lag has been sending owners frowning, a solution is needed

There isn't any confirmation for this, but rumor has it that Google is thinking of upgrading the Nexus 10 Tablet.

According to some reports, the slate has some performance problems, like lag.

The resolution of the display (2560 x 1600 pixels) is the main culprit behind the lag. While doing its best to actually render images in that resolution, the 1.7GHz dual-core Exynos processor and the Mali-T604 GPU can't keep up with everything else.

Google is now thinking of installing an 8-core Mali-T678 graphics processing unit in the next iteration of the slate.

For that matter, the company is also considering the increase in ARM processing cores from two to four.

The new tablet will be announced at MWC 2013, in February (Mobile World Congress). No price change is expected.
