Slowly but surely, the Sunnyvale company manages to beat Google and steal some of its most important users. As you might know, the two companies are powerful rivals in a lot of categories but it seems that Yahoo is more than a simple favorite of the battle. A recent report revealed that Google's Gmail grew up a lot, but Yahoo Mail is still the leader of the competition. Gmail is not even close because the second position is taken by Hotmail, one of the oldest mail technologies on the Internet. However, the most important battle is still the one that involves the search engines as Google ones the best one while Yahoo struggles to challenge the Mountain View company.

In the recent time, Google grew up a lot, the search giant releasing new technologies such as universal search, a special solution that displays all the results in a single page. Recently, the company's officials sustained that Google is interested in developing a new technology that will be able to answer common questions such as "What job shall I choose?". Today, a Google employee described a potent health system prepared by the company that might introduce a new technology on the market.

Google versus Yahoo is a battle famous in the entire world because the two companies are often aiming to lure the same segment of users. However, Yahoo looks a little bit weaker than before because the Sunnyvale company closed no less than three products in the last month. The first one was Yahoo Photos that was meant to be replaced by Flickr, a more popular solution that provides almost the same features. Then, Yahoo Auctions was also announced as an upcoming closed product. Today, the giant portal mentioned on more service to be shut down, giving a lot of signs that the company wants to bundle several products into only one and powerful solution.
