Ubiquisys proudly announced that it is one of the companies that received Google's support to become more powerful and fight for the leader position of the market. The UK company sustained Google joined other several investors which brought funds to the firm in order to reach its goals. The entire amount of money is almost $25 million but it was not mentioned how much is offered by the Mountain View giant Google.

'Our mission is to empower mobile carriers to bring compelling service packages into homes using our ZoneGate solution,' said Chris Gilbert, CEO Ubiquisys. 'We're delighted by the confidence our investors have shown in our technology and its ability to deliver innovative applications via ZoneGate's unique services platform.'

This is not Google's first effort to get involved into the mobile market as the Mountain View company developed several new flavors of its products in order to bring mobile consumers to their services. For example, Gmail, Google Calendar and even the famous search engine is accessible from any handheld device connected to the Internet.

But that's not all. Google was even rumored that it's preparing a special mobile device that would offer instant access to all of its solutions in a matter of seconds. However, the Google representatives sustain the Mountain View company will remain focused on software solutions and not on hardware devices such as a Googlephone that would compete with the leaders of the market.

A potential Googlephone was actually meant to beat the latest Apple creation, codename iPhone that created a huge mania after its release date. Since the launch moment on June 29, the iPhone was one of the most popular products among the gadget lovers. However, Google is still a software firm but the iPhone provides instant access to some of the search giant's products such as YouTube, the famous video sharing platform.
