No problem, says Google

Today, the Google AdSense team posted a notification to inform users about a problem reported lately that bothered a lot of registered members. It seems that many webmasters sent complaints to the search giant because their website preview showed by the HTML editors or even some online pages were displaying adverts in foreign languages. This problem is especially annoying because it might affect the member's revenues as some visitors looking for English content avoid clicking on the adverts presented in other languages. However, Google sustains this is something normal and the changes will be reverted once the website is crawled by the Googlebot.

"Before our system can display targeted ads on your pages, our crawler first needs to access your pages. While you're building your pages within your HTML editor, your page hasn't yet been crawled, so you may sometimes see less-targeted ads or even ads in foreign languages. However, after you've published a page to the web, you should start seeing ads in the appropriate language," Arlene Lee, AdSense Publisher Support, sustained today.

Usually, it takes about 1 or 2 weeks until the Googlebot crawls your website so, if the ads displayed by Google AdSense are still in foreign languages, wait a while and see what happens. As you know, AdSense is one of the advertising platforms powered by the search giant Google that allows users to earn money by placing adverts on their websites. At this time, the Mountain View company struggles to expand the advertising solution to the offline media by signing several deals with newspapers, radio stations or other offline publications. Recently, the company introduced a new testing program, allowing some selected AdWords publishers to create audio ads.
