Yeah, I know it. If you're not crazy, then you're not the man for business. If you're not crazy, you're not buying an online video sharing service for a huge amount of money and fight against the entire world, being accused of copyright infringement. If you're not crazy, you're not trying to expand your products into the Asian market when all the local rivals are attracting the majority of users. Yep, it's obvious, they're crazy. A Google employee recognizes it and talks about the recent acquisitions, sustaining that the search giant tries to invest in the powerful companies enabling them to improve their offerings although other firms avoid to invest money. As you know, Google recently acquired DoubleClick, an online company that will strive to help the search giant enhance the advertising platforms, AdWords and Adsense, and provide even more tools for publishers and advertisers.

"We look at everything very carefully. The really crazy ones do really well. The crazy ones mean they ignore the usual restraints of investment levels required or design parameters or Gee I need more servers than anyone ever thought was possible. When you free yourselves from these constraints, you create crazy, cool things. We don't do traffic for traffic's sake. It has to be highly monetizable," Salman Ullah, Google's director of corporate development, said at Los Angeles Venture Association according to Bloomberg.

I believe all of you admit that Google managed to revolutionize the Internet life with a huge number of products such as YouTube, Gmail or Docs & Spreadsheets. What about Yahoo? Sometimes, Yahoo is just a reference point because Google uses it to create even more powerful products and attract more users than the giant portal. I admit that Yahoo is also a powerful company with a lot of incredible products, but at this time, Google is the search giant, owning the most powerful search technology on the Internet. And come on, the competition is great, especially for us, the users, because the companies are continuously struggling to develop new ideas and solutions.
