Google is one of the most popular companies on the internet with products from multiple categories that are also available in several languages. As you may know, Google provides services for many countries but the company is continuously expanding by creating new products and opening new offices. Some time ago, many internet publications reported that Google is more popular than Yahoo, having more offices and specific country domains than the giant portal. Also, the company tries to expand Google News, making it available in multiple languages as Google announced recently that new offices were opened in Norway and Sweden.

Today, Google said that a new company branch will be opened soon in Finland, an office that is meant to increase the AdSense and AdWords popularity.

"US internet services group Google said in a news conference in Helsinki on Wednesday that it would open an office in the Finnish capital. Petri Kokko, the head of Google Finland, said small Finnish companies could advertise their products globally through the internet whereas only Nokia had been able to reach the same coverage using traditional advertising," NewsRoom Finland reported.

It seems that the search giant wants a new challenge for the company because they also announced that Jonathan Gillespie, former head of radio at Omnicom's pooled buying unit Opera, will join Google soon. Jonathan will be a Google leader for agency relationships in UK, but it looks like the employee was also interviewed for a role at Channel 4 Radio as BrandRepublic reported.

"Mark Howe, managing director for sales at Google UK, said: "Jonathan is one of a series of senior hirings we are due to make over the following few months. We are actively looking to build our relationships with the agency community, something we have not had the opportunity to focus on recently, but is certainly one of our main priorities now," according to the same source.
