New technology built by Google

Facebook is quite one of the top web solutions at this time and numerous companies try to ally with it in order to boost its traffic. Although I really don't think that Google needs popularity and traffic, the Mountain View company created a Facebook technology that allows you to search the Internet and share the results with other members of the social networking website.

As blogger Ionut Alex Chitu writes, the application is entirely built with the help of AJAX Search API: "Google made a lovely app for Facebook that lets you search the web and share the results with your friends. Your queries are automatically included in Facebook's mini-feed, so your web history can be shared with your friends. There's also a page that showcases popular results found by other Facebook users."

Although I'm not a fan of Facebook and of social networking websites in general, I wanted to test this recently released application. So, I logged in into my Facebook account (which was very rarely accessed) but I was unable to try it due to an error provided by the technology.

"Errors while loading page from application: There are still a few kinks Facebook and the makers of Google are trying to iron out. We appreciate your patience as we try to fix these issues. Your problem has been logged - if it persists, please come back in a few days. Thanks!" the error reads.

It's quite obvious that most of the companies are interested in a Google technology every time they are looking for a powerful solution to assure the searching needs of their users. Facebook is just one of them and, even if the application is not working at this time, I'm sure that it's based on the best search engine on the web which is daily used by millions of users from all around the world.
