Yeah, this happened to others too

Being a fanatic when it comes down to organizing things so that I can access them from anywhere with the lest amount of clicks or browsing possible, I can really empathize with the people who have had this happening to them over the past month or so.

The problem popped up in the Google Docs Discussions about things that aren't working right on the 21st of November and except for users trying to help as best they could, no official answer was posted to the thread. Not until last night, that is, when after three whole weeks, Chandler, an official Google Docs Guide replied that "I'm sorry for my delayed response. Thank you all for posting about this issue [?] We are aware of this issue and we are looking into each case of missing folders. I'll contact you via email if I need more information. Thank you all for your patience as we work to resolve this as quickly as possible."

It's too bad that the folders will be out and not about until early January, but that's the way it's going to be, according to them. If you've run across this problem, then you know that the files haven't been actually lost, they are still there on the Docs homepage after logging in, it's just the folders that have turned out missing. It's interesting to note that only the recently created folders have disappeared, the old tags that have been converted are still hanging in there.

It's way too long a wait for the problem to be noticed in the first place, but after that to have to wait another additional month for something that should be so easy to give back? Lack of interest or an example of things that look easy as pie but are actually not?
