Jeffrey Toback, a democrat politician from New York has accused Google in the past of using illicit images as a business model and that the companies financial methods allowed sites that displayed pornographic content involving children to advertise through sponsored links on the popular search engine.

"If Mr. Toback would like to talk with us about something, he should consider approaching it with a phone call, letter or other common form of communication, not an irresponsible lawsuit. The claims he made in his lawsuit are some of the most far-fetched accusations we've ever heard," said Google spokesman Steve Langdon declaring that the company was pleased with the dismissal of the lawsuit.

The politician said in a statement that he gave up on following through with the legal action because Google had offered to discuss upon the allegations, but on the condition that no litigation be pending, and that as such he expects to have a sit down with the company's representatives as soon as possible.

Google denied all the accusations from the get-go saying that it was making all the necessary steps to prevent such situations from emerging. The Mountain View giant prohibits everything related to child pornography in its products, offering assistance to authorities in bringing the persons behind such obscene acts to justice.
