Everybody likes free stuff and quality isn't always that important. I mean, yeah, it's not like it's something you paid a lot of money for and after that it turns out to be a worthless piece of crap that you didn't actually need and can't remember why you bought it. And when I say quality isn't that important, I have in mind three of the most important qualities wine should have: it has to be good, cold and free. With the possible changing of "cold" to "dry" or whatever you may like.

People shopping by Google Checkout should be happy to hear that this holiday season is going to be discount season for them: the Great Search Engine based in Mountain View has announced that its payment system allows buyers to benefit from exclusive discounts (emphasis on exclusive) and free shipping, while at the same time earning frequent flyer miles, as they make their holiday season purchases.

The only "must" to the above happening to you is that you must register from today up to December the 31st and be a resident of the United States. This alone gives you the chance to earn flyer miles by the buck at a 1:1 parity if you spend it through Google's payment system. The airline reward program taking part includes Alaska Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Airlines, Midwest Airlines, Northwest Airlines, US Airways and United Airlines.

Over 100 different Checkout retailers will be offering free shipping and discounts of 10 up to 50 dollars off different purchases.

M2.com notes that "the company also provides a Google Checkout Purchase History, allowing users to access information, such as shipping status and store contact information, while iGoogle users can keep track of purchases from their iGoogle homepage. Google Checkout for Non-Profits enables users to donate to charitable organizations such as the Salvation Army, Red Cross, March of Dimes, One Laptop Per Child and the William J. Clinton Global Initiative quickly and securely."
