Google wants the Asian market and this is obvious because the company had several attempts to increase its presence in the area, but all of them were rejected by the local leaders. After the search giant managed to open a new office in Korea, Google is now aiming to hire more and more engineers able to increase the company's products and attract the local clients. According to Yonhap News, Google already hired 15 employees and is now looking to find new more experienced engineers.

"We have completed selecting 15 South Korean engineers, who underwent our eight-step interviewing process. The number will not stay there. There will be no ceiling on how many engineers will be employed as Google is intensifying its efforts to expand its presence here in the Korean market. Half of the new South Korean engineers are new-entry workers, while the other half are those who have quite an amount of experience in software development," said Lois Kim, a spokesperson for Google Korea, according to the same publication.

The Asian market is really attractive for all the Internet giants because it is one of the largest IT areas in the entire world, with powerful companies and rich clients. Since the search giant announced it plans to conquer Asia, the company encountered a powerful resistance from the local leaders. Take the example of Baidu, often regarded as the Chinese Google that managed to attract the majority of local users and make the search giant's attempts almost useless. Yahoo was also a company that tried to conquer Asia but in its case, the consequences were even tougher. The giant portal suffered several departures bundled with an internal reorganization able to revamp the company. At this time, the only firm that tries to conquer Asia is Google with several attempts such as products, offices, employees and partnerships.
