The advertising platform is enhanced again

After publishing adverts on billboards, the Mountain View super giant Google is now trying a new move and published the GOOG-411 advert on the San Francisco taxis. The picture was made by Niall Kennedy and posted on Flickr but the Google officials didn't say a thing about this matter. Just like the billboard advert which was discovered earlier this week, the one placed on the taxi advertises GOOG-411, a technology powered by the Mountain View company. The interesting fact is that Google used to test the new campaign by using the registered members' adverts but this time, it created ads of its own technologies.

However, it's obvious that Google evolves into the offline area, a new side of the market in which the company wants to expand its offering. It all started a long time ago when the Mountain View-based firm decided that it was the time to become more powerful in the traditional media since it was already the king of the online advertising industry.

At that time, Google signed deals with several US newspapers in order to publish the AdWords advertisements into their pages. Also, the company selected a limited number of registered members to test the technologies and this was described as a real success. Later, Google partnered with numerous US radio stations which were supposed to play the audio ads distributed by the company. A few months ago, Google released a new campaign that allows the users to create audio ads and to distribute them at the registered radios, a clear sign that the testing sessions were successful.

But Google was more than that and said it is going to take the advertising platform straight on the street by publishing the adverts on the billboards from all around the country. Moreover, the super giant mentioned even more revolutionary plans as it aims to bring the adverts into the US shops.
