Google's Microsoft PowerPoint killer, Presently, will be released this year as it is meant to be included in the Google Apps suite. As you might know, this pack of utilities is regarded as the best alternative for the classic Microsoft Office suite, because it provides similar solutions accessible from online mode. Matthew Glotzbach, director of product management in Google's enterprise division, said that other products might join the Apps suite such as video, blogging and note-taking according to PC Advisor.

"Presentation is a feature of Google Documents, it's not as much building a separate presentation application. We are building this ability to present from a document," Glotzbach said according to the same source. "Every day we get asked about the other Google properties. What about YouTube? What about Google Notebook? What about Blogger? What about Google Groups? From my view, those are all candidate applications that probably would have a strong following if they were part of the Google Apps offering. When we get to those, and if we get to those, remains to be seen."

Google's Apps suite was regarded as the most powerful competitor for Microsoft's Office because it offers almost the same solutions, but in online mode. Moreover, most of the Google products are available for free, so a potential Google Office suite would be also free for all. However, since the Mountain View company debuted Google Apps, it is available in multiple flavors, including one freeware version, that allows the customers to choose the one that matches their requirements.

Some time ago, the Internet users discovered a document stored on a Google Docs & Spreadsheets account that contained information about a potential presentation tool prepared by the search giant. The service, codenamed Presently, was regarded as the solution able to complete with the Office suite and compete with Microsoft's product.
